Chapter 19 – Devil’s Got You Beat
I do not own Twilight, SOA, or anything youtube related.
Jax rolled over and looked to the time. He could smell the bacon and coffee coming from the kitchen. He stuffed a cigarette into his mouth and took a piss before heading that way.
“Well good morning to you too.” He murmured with a grin.
He pecked her on the lips then had a seat. Bella smiled as she sat his plate down. Jax finished his cigarette then put it out.
“Oh…” Bella said with a touch of disappointment.
“Sorry, darlin’.” He uttered as she had made Abel a plate as well.
She sat the waffle and eggs aside.
“I’ll eat it!” Jax said with a wide grin and Bella laughed as he slid the plate on over.
“So what’s the occasion?” He questioned.
Bella let out a nervous laugh on this. Jax stopped in the middle of chewing and Bella sipped at her coffee. Jax swallowed his food and shook his head.
“You’re kidding… Did you just make your first I’m sorry breakfast?!”
“I’m sorry breakfast?” She asked with curiosity and Jax nodded.
He drank some of his coffee then cleared his throat.
“That’s what this is, isn’t it?! Hell, we’re not even married yet! So what’d you do?”
“I may or may not have shot your stepfather and had my Phantoms torture him, but just a little bit.”
“And I thought you did something wrong…”
Bella regarded Jax in surprise as he stuffed another mouthful of food into his mouth.
“I’m serious, Jackson.” She said with a trembling voice.
Jax nodded and leaned back in his chair.
“So am I.”
Bella reared back on this and Jax folded his arms about his chest.
“I already knew…”
“That’s right, darlin’. I was just waiting for you to tell me. Took you long enough.”
“Don’t be. I understand. I mean I didn’t at first. But Chibs set me straight and I get it now. You did what you had to do. I’m only sorry that Clay dragged you into all this mess. It isn’t right.”
Jax waved her over then pulled her into his lap.
“Thank you for telling me.” Jax brushed her hair back with his fingers.
“So I’m guessing those guys… That was his doing?” He questioned and Bella nodded.
“I believe so.”
“There’s something else I need to tell you…”
Jax lifted his eyes on this and Bella drew back a hesitant breath as she told him about her and Tig’s little adventure.
“You and Tig killed someone…”
“Well yeah… The asshole had it coming.”
Jax shook his head in disbelief.
“Why didn’t you call me?”
“You were out on MC business and this was something Tig and I needed to handle.”
“Derk was in that hospital because his father put him there! So yes, it was!”
“It is always going to be like this?”
“You just go off and do whatever, commit crimes, take a life… All while leaving my ass in the dark, until you see fit to let me in.”
“No, it isn’t. This is still new to me, Jackson. I’ve been on my own for so long, it’s all I know. So I don’t think about answering to anyone else.”
“It’s not about answering to me. We’re a team or so I thought. I know I can’t always be there when shit goes down. But I’d like to be given that opportunity.”
“Do you call and tell me everything that goes down between you and the club?”
“So that’s how we’re gonna play this?”
Bella hopped out of his lap and sort of laughed.
“Not this shit again…”
“What shit?! This is what couples do! They sit down and talk shit out! You know my dad made a very good point in those manuscripts of his. He said you either tell your old lady everything, or nothing. That’s the only way marriage in the MC works. I kept Wendy and Tara in the dark, about a lot of things and look at how that turned out. I don’t want that for us! So please, quit fighting me on this. I’ve told you everything I know. There’s only ONE thing I haven’t told you and that’s because I haven’t had the chance.”
Bella regarded him in question.
“I’m out, baby. I turned my cut in.”
Bella reared back and had this dumbfounded look about her. Jax told her about their meeting with the IRA and how shit went down from there. He let her know that Opie and Piney had turned in theirs in as well.
“So you’re no longer SAMCRO?”
“Bella baby, I know what I’m doing.”
“I hope so. Because I don’t see how that’s going to get you any closer to the gavel.”
Jax sent her a bit of a smirk and tapped his index finger along his temple.
“It’s all up here. I just need you to trust that. I need you now more than ever. Handing my cut in like that… I thought I’d throw up. I never realized just how strongly that would hit me. The club is all I know. I grew up around those guys and it’s engrained into me.”
“I’ll help in whatever way I can.”
“Good, because I need you to keep my ass straight. I mean it. Don’t let me cave in. As long as Clay’s at the gavel, I’ve got to stand my ground. If you see me inchin’ that way… Just remind me of what’s at stake. Those boys are watching my every move now. If I come crawling back to Clay… All that does is prove I’m just as worthless as he is. And everything I’ve worked towards… doesn’t mean shit. I want to keep my father’s legacy alive. This is what he fought so hard for, before he died. I want to finish what he started. I want JT to see that I have what it takes. I can do this. I just need my future queen by my side. Don’t let me give in.”
“Jackson, you don’t need me for that. You’re stronger than you think. I see it in your eyes. You got this. But that being said… You know I have your back, always.”
“So we tell each everything… From here on out, right?”
“Hmmm. Now that’s what I like to hear…” He said with a wink.
Bella laughed and finished her coffee.
“I invited Tig to the engagement party by the way…”
“Yeah… I figured with Clay not being there, now would be a good time for Tig to come clean to the others. He’d be on safe grounds.”
“That’s actually pretty smart, baby.”
“How do you think the others will take it?”
“Well Clay already lied about the hit. Tig ratting him out won’t look so good.”
Even through his suspicions… Jax couldn’t believe Clay put a hit out on his old lady, much less ordering another brother to do it for him. The mere idea had Jax picturing the most violent ways of ending Clay Morrow.
“Think that’ll backfire on Tig?”
“I won’t let it. It’s one thing to rat a member out, for selfish gain. It’s something else when you’re looking out for your brothers and their loved ones. The Sons will see that. I’ll make sure of it. Tig will be in good hands.”
“I hope so.”
“Thought you hated Trager…”
“He grows on you… That and you’d be surprised on how much bonding goes into planning the perfect murder.”
“You’re very unbalanced, you know that?!” He said but with a chuckle.
“Doesn’t make it any less true.”
“Damn…” Jax uttered once Bella told him about Han’s letter and how he died.
“I’m sorry. I know how much he meant to you.”
“It isn’t right. First Dom and now Han…” Bella teared up a bit and Jax pulled her into his chest.
“And you were right… He left all that shit to me. What in the fuck am I supposed to do with all those cars and that house?!”
Jax swallowed back on this. He wondered that very thing. It just wasn’t him or Bella. Sure, he could picture his old lady in those cars, but the house. She looked so out of place. Jax himself felt out of place when visiting.
“Don’t get me wrong. The money is nice… But it makes me nervous. Like I really don’t know what to do.”
Han meant well and Jax knew that. But Han obviously didn’t know Bella the way Jax did. Bella was never into the whole luxurious scene. They were a lot alike in that sense. The simplest things made them happy. All the more reason he needed the Sons out from guns and back on track. Yeah, the money was nice. But it wouldn’t mean shit if everyone around them was dead. Besides, the shop and porn biz brought them more than enough. Now it wasn’t something they could splurge on. But it was enough to be content. That’s all he ever wanted.
“We’ll think of something…”
Bella nodded but seemed truly lost. Jax ran a soothing hand along her back and kissed her shoulder.
“Don’t worry on it right now. Have fun with it. That’s what Han would want. We’ll cross that road once we get married.”
“Are you going to forge my name on some important papers there, Jackson?”
“I just might!” He teased and smacked her on the rear.
“That was my plan all along. Find a rich woman, get married then kill her off. BOOM! Set for life!”
“Figured this much. But there’s only one downside to all this.”
“Hmm, what’s that baby?”
“If something happens to me everything goes to my car! That’s going to be one happy GTO!”
Jax sighed as if truly disappointed.
“Well shit… Guess we should call off the wedding. We can still fuck, right?”
“Oh hell yeah.”
Jax cupped her chin however and looked her in the eyes.
“All joking aside… If you hadn’t a penny to your name and lived on the fucking streets, it wouldn’t change how I feel. You’re my angel, always will be.” (A/N: Little nod to The Shield of Anarchy 😉 )
“Hey buddy!” Bella greeted as Abel reached for her.
Gemma smiled and handed him over. Abel kissed Bella’s cheek and hugged her close.
“Awe I missed you too, Abel.”
Jax smiled and greeted his mother with a hug and kiss on the forehead.
“How you feelin’, mom?”
“Better now that I’m home.”
“I imagine so.”
“So… How you two doing…?” Gemma hintingly whispered and Jax looked to Bella in thought.
“We’re good. Real good.”
Gemma nodded in response.
Bella’s cellphone rang as she and Abel were coloring a picture of his.
“Hey, doll. I just wanted to make certain you were a hundred percent on this. I don’t wanna ruin yours and Jax’s day, ya know.”
“Tig, get your ass over here.”
He chuckled on the other end.
“Alright. I’ll be there in a jiffy.”
Bella hung up the phone went back to coloring her pink elephant. Abel shook his head and put a hand down stopping her. He handed her a blue crayon instead.
“Oh, the elephant was meant to be blue?”
He nodded and pointed to the elephant.
“My bad, I’ll fix this right away!”
Abel giggled as she colored over the pink and made the elephant blue instead.
“He’s got her wrapped around his little finger.” Gemma muttered and Jax sort of laughed.
“That he does.”
“Mind getting the grill ready, sweetheart?”
Gemma asked as that was normally Clay’s job.
“Not at all.” Jax replied and headed outside.
Opie, Piney, Donna, and the kids were already out back. What Jax didn’t expect was to see Chibs and Juice as well. He greeted each of them with a handshake and hug.
“Surprise you’re back.” Jax stated and Chibs shrugged Juice’s direction.
“Didn’t run inta any probs gettin’ through Mayan territory.” He hinted and Jax nodded in understanding.
“That’s always a bonus.”
“Must’ve been sleeping on the job.” Jax uttered as he went and fired up the grill.
What Chibs wasn’t telling him is that Clay got all pissy and pretty much rushed the whole operation. They were lucky nothing got fouled up in the process. That could’ve ended badly, for everyone, considering they were shorthanded as it was. Clay just wasn’t firing on all cylinders. He was letting that anger get the best of him and it most certainly showed last night. He’d snapped at everyone, at least a handful of times on the way there and back.
“So how ye holdin’ up, kid?”
“I’m good.” Jax replied and looked to the others in thought.
“Just taking it a day at a time.”
“All we can do…” Chibs expressed a certain way and Jax looked to him in question.
Chibs sent him a mere wink and patted him on the back.
“Ye’ll get there…”
Jax went to say something on this but was taken back as Juice opened the back gate. The Phantoms snuck on in and Dizzy put a single finger to her lips. Jax chuckled in response but didn’t utter a word on it. Kelly was the last one to enter but had Kozik in hand. He nodded upon the other Sons and Juice pulled a rather odd face on this. Jax kept to himself and merely observed the interaction between the Phantoms and the Sons. For once, there didn’t seem to be any bitterness. They talked and laughed and seemed to be having a genuinely good time. It’s amazing what can happen when Clay wasn’t around to influence everyone, the man found himself thinking. His mother brought out the meat and Jax placed everything on the grill. Jax however had a true beam about him when Bella exited the house, with Abel in her hold. She froze and looked to her Phantoms in shock. Dizzy waved and Bella just stood there with that stunned presence.
“What are you guys doing here?!”
Dizzy pointed to Gemma and Gemma gave a simple nod.
“You invited them?!”
“Of course, this is your engagement party, right?!”
Bella blushed as if the thought hadn’t truly occurred to her.
“Thank you.” She sincerely stated and Gemma hugged her on the way back inside.
Bella greeted everyone with a hug. Chibs nevertheless managed to steal a quick peck on the lips. Jax shook his head, but continued in his quiet observation. He truly hoped this was the start of something new and that things would only get better from here. He knew they had one hell of a fight ahead of them. But if he and Bella could get their “family” to become one that would certainly help matters.
The food was just about ready, when Tig finally made that appearance. He came in through the gate and Bella was first to welcome him. Tig gave her one hell of a bear hug. As for the boys… They were shooting him daggers. Jax sighed amongst himself. The boys hadn’t seen or heard from Tig, in over a week now. So naturally, this left a few of them not only suspicious, but rather angry that he hadn’t been there to help with the shop and other MC related affairs. Tig had this uncomfortable presence about him, when he took notice of the looks he was getting. Bella looked to Jax with apprehension. Jax finished up then made his way over. He cleared his throat gathering everyone’s attention.
“First off, I just wanna say how lucky I am.” Jax looked to Bella in admiration and raised his beer.
“As many of you already know, Bella and I are getting married.”
There were a few hoots and hollers, while everyone gave a round of applause.
“ABOUT TIME!” Dizzy howled and Bella cut her a ‘look’.
Jax chuckled on this.
“Bella baby, I know we’ve had our up and downs. Most of those downs were my own doing. You’ve been a godsend. You’ve opened my eyes to so much and I can’t thank you enough for giving me this chance. Here’s to us and a brand new start. We got this, darlin’!”
Jax and everyone else drank to this. Bella got a little emotional and Dizzy wrapped an arm around her. Jax sent his old lady a wink and mouthed the words I love you. He gave it a few minutes to let his and Bella’s engagement sink in, before having Tig step on up. Tig had this nervous twinge about him and Jax patted him on the shoulder.
“Got your back, brother.”
“I hope so…” Tig uttered looking rather ill.
He’d never dreamed of being in this situation. He was about to rat out another brother, not just any brother but the fucking prez, and someone he once considered his best friend. Someone he swore a personal oath to and here he was about to break that very oath. Jax whistled out as everyone was getting pretty loud. Once he had their attention, Jax made a gesture towards Tig.
“Tig is here because Bella and I personally invited him. Cut or no cut, he’s still my brother and he’s got something he needs to say. I don’t anyone interrupting him. This is important.”
Tig looked to everyone around him then back to Jax.
“Go on…” Jax encouraged.
“I need anyone club affiliated to meet me at the chapel, tonight. Cuts, no cuts, prospects, all brothers should be there…”
Jax regarded Tig in a bit of a stupor. He hadn’t expected that at all. It wasn’t like Tig Trager to call forth a meeting. In fact, this made a first.
“Are you sure about this…?” Jax hinted as to Clay being there as well.
“Jax, I’m tired of hiding and I’m not down for becoming the prez’s punching bag.” Tig looked to Jax’s old lady in thought.
Her words had stuck a chord with him and she was right.
“This is my club too and I have just as much say in how shit goes.”
Jax patted the apple of his cheek.
“About time, brother. I’m proud of you. We’ll get to that meeting tonight.”
Tig nodded but looked to be on a mission of sorts. He walked right up to Bella, took his cut off then handed it over. She’d this puzzled look about her.
“Hold on to that for me, will you?”
“I’m not really wanted here right now…” He muttered and with a nod towards Piney and the others.
“I want you here.” Bella stated and Tig smiled.
“You’re a sweetheart.”
“So why am I holding your cut?”
“Because if I had given into Clay’s demands, you’d be dead. You holdin’ onto that… is just a little reminder. I don’t want it back, not until this shit’s sorted out.”
“I’ll guard it with my life.”
“No. Not with your life. Just keep it close. Maybe it’ll bring me some luck.” Tig looked to Derk in thought.
“I sure could use it.”
Bella walked Tig to his bike then waved him off. She reared back however as Clay pulled up not long after. He parked at the curb then waved her over.
“You a stalker now?”
Clay rolled his eyes on this.
“You two seem pretty chummy…” Clay hinted as to her and Tig.
“What do you want, Clay?”
“Putlova called. Said something about how he’s been trying to get ahold of you? He needs you to run something for him. Meaning I need you this weekend.”
“Is that so?”
“Not happening. We had a deal, remember?”
“Then you know what will happen…” She warned and Clay gave Bella that winning smirk of his.
Bella looked back and her uncle tossed her a set of keys.
“Think you can take the truck to the shop and let Donna drive your car home? It’s been acting up and you know how she gets…” Opie trailed off, once he realized Clay was in the truck.
“What are you doing here?”
Bella pocketed the keys to her uncle’s truck.
“Just talking a little business, that’s all.”
Opie nodded but got a protective hold on his niece. He herded her back towards the house.
“Stay away from her.”
“Can’t do that. We got business with the Russians, remember?”
“YOU got business with the Russians. Leave my niece out of it.”
“Fair enough…” Clay uttered and raised his hands as in defeat.
Opie gave a simple nod and watched as Clay took off.
“Why can’t it always be like this…?” Jax whispered as he pulled Bella into his lap.
He handed Bella a beer then gestured towards his mother’s guests. Ellie, Donna, and Gemma were playing with Abel. Kenny and Opie were tossing a football around. Kozik and Kelly were off in a corner making out. Dizzy was in Kip’s lap and they were talking to Piney. Chibs, Happy, Mia, Eric, and Derk were cutting up with one another and laughing off and on.
“Wish we had a camcorder.”
“Right?!” Jax uttered behind a chuckle.
“Hmmm…” He hummed as he kissed along her shoulder.
“I’d be using that camcorder for other things…”
“Would you now?”
“You own a porn studio…”
“True. But I’ve got my favorite star, right here.”
Jax nodded and kissed on up her neck. He licked her earlobe then whispered into her ear.
“You’d give our girls a run for their money, darlin’.”
“Bias hasn’t anything to do with it.”
“Come on, baby. Look at you.”
Jax brushed her hair back and Bella went to cover her scars. Jax was quick to stop her.
“Don’t.” He said with a hint of DOM to his voice.
“Those scars… They remind me of what I could’ve lost. Don’t ever hide them from me. I love each and every one of them. They only make you more beautiful.”
“Told you…” Derk uttered as he’d overheard this.
“Were you eavesdropping?!” Bella accused and Derk shrugged.
“Does it matter?”
Bella chucked an apple at him and he caught it.
“Sexy badass vibe goin’, right?!” Derk questioned and Jax’s way.
Derk sent Bella a wink and bit into the apple.
“Yeah well you’re gay so…”
“Bi hon, and no offense to your old man but if you weren’t my boss and I wasn’t so into Tig…” Derk wiggled his brows and Jax damn near spit his beer out.
“Come on!” Jax scolded and Derk let out nervous laugh.
“Sorry bro. Just being honest.”
“Yeah well, go hit on someone else!”
“Alright.” Derk looked to be in thought then nodded Jax’s direction.
“So how you doin’, blue eyes….”
Bella died of laughter and Jax smacked her on the ass.
Bella dried off a plate then handed it to Donna. Donna put up the plate and Bella went on to dry another dish.
“So December… That’s not too far away.” Donna uttered in thought.
Gemma looked over as she rinsing another plate.
“No. It isn’t…” Bella murmured with a shrug.
“Got a dress picked out?”
“Nope. Doubt I even wear one.”
“But it’s your wedding day!” Gemma scolded.
“Exactly. It’s MY wedding day.”
Donna stopped what she was doing and had this offbeat look about her.
“So no dress…” Her aunt murmured looking downright ill.
Opie had entered the kitchen with a long white box in hand. Donna was quick to do the cut throat motion and tried shoeing him out, before Bella took notice.
“Umm… What’s going on?”
“That’s what I’d like to know. I thought you wanted me to bring this in.” Opie said.
“I changed my mind.”
“Okay…” Opie uttered looking somewhat annoyed.
He started on out of the kitchen and Bella looked to her aunt in wonder.
“What was that?”
“No it wasn’t. What’s in the box?”
Donna ignored this and went back to putting the dishes up. Bella darted on out of the kitchen and followed her uncle outside.
“What is it?!”
“Hell if I know. Woman can’t make up her mind.”
Opie went to place the box back into the truck; only to have his niece snatch it from his hold.
“BELLA!” Donna hollered as she exited the house.
Bella opened the box and Donna cringed.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t know… Or I wouldn’t have…”
Bella looked to the dress then back to her aunt. The young woman took the dress out of the box then held it up against her.
“You remembered…” Bella whispered behind a quivery voice.
“I was thirteen…”
“But you really wanted that dress…”
“You bought a wedding dress I picked out as a kid…?”
“Couldn’t help it. I’d never seen you so adamant about anything. You were never one to ask for anything. The look on your face when Renee told you no… it broke my heart.”
“You’ve been holding onto this dress, the whole time?”
“Well yeah…” Donna said feeling rather stupid now.
Bella hugged the dress and got a little choked up.
“Bella, you don’t have to wear it just for my sake.”
“Are you kidding me? I fucking love this dress. It’s the only dress I’d willingly wear! Why do you think I was so adamant about it?”
Donna let out a breath of relief. Opie chuckled and headed back inside.
“Don’t let Jax see it. Bad luck…”
“Right…” Bella said and carefully placed the dress back into the box.
Bella put the box in the trunk of the GTO then locked it up.
“Seriously. Thank you. I can’t believe you did that for me.”
“If it doesn’t fit, let me know. I know the perfect seamstress.”
Donna laughed as Bella hugged the hell out of her.
“I can’t wait to try it on.”
“You’ll be stunning, I just know it.”
“Just don’t let me forget it’s back there. Oh yeah…” Bella handed the keys to the GTO over.
Donna looked to them in confusion.
“Uncle Op said the truck was acting up…”
“Pffft… I can get it to the shop, just fine. Men.” Donna scoffed and Bella laughed as she handed her uncle’s keys back.
“Mind dropping Ellie and Kenny off at the house though?”
“Not at all.”
“Thanks. I’ll have Opie take me home after the meeting.”
“Cool, I’ll stick around. Play some video games or something.”
“They’d like that. You go on. I’ll help Gemma finish up then head on to the shop.”
“Alright.” Bella called as she went to gather the kids.
“Dude, we get to ride in this?!” Kenny questioned and Bella laughed.
“AWESOME! I CALL SHOTGUN!”
Donna overheard this and cringed.
“I’ll keep it under the speed limit, mom.” Bella teased.
“You better!” Donna said as she was taking out the trash.
“We still on for tomorrow?” Jax hinted while walking Bella to the car.
“Yep. Got everything I need.”
“Cool. I’ll call you with the dets come mornin’.”
Bella kissed him and Abel goodbye then headed onto the Winston house.
“That’s the happiest I’ve seen her in a long time.” Donna said and Gemma looked over.
This had Jax’s attention as well as he was grabbing a beer from the fridge.
“She’s been through so much. It was nice seeing the old Bella again.”
Gemma narrowed her eyes on this.
“Don’t hurt her. I mean it. That goes for both of you. Bella needs more days like these. She never had this growing up.”
Jax shut the fridge and nodded upon Donna, respectfully. Donna kissed him on the cheek and let Opie know she was heading to the shop.
“I don’t think I had this growing up…” Jax softly remarked and Gemma reared back as if offended.
“Come on, mom. You know days like this were rare. We hadn’t had them since…” Jax trailed off and Gemma recoiled but nodded.
“Since JT…” She finished and Jax sent her an apologetic glance.
“It’s okay. I’ve thought that very thing myself.”
“I miss him.”
“Me too, baby. Me too…”
“You ever gonna open up about what really happened?”
“Mom, I’m not a kid anymore. I think I can handle it.”
“And ruin this perfect day…?”
“Right… Another day.”
“I promise.” Gemma agreed and pecked her son on the cheek.
“I’m holding you to that.”
“I left the game in dad’s truck!” Kenny whined and Bella laughed.
“I’ll go get it. Shouldn’t take me long.”
Kenny lit up at this.
“Just get us some popcorn ready, because I’m soooo kicking your ass tonight!”
“Yeah right! You wish!”
She roughed his and Ellie’s hair up on the way out. Bella was thinking about how smoothly everything went to tonight and smiled amongst herself. She kept in mind to thank Gemma the next time she saw her. Bella had the music blaring and was singing along when she passed her uncle’s truck. It was parked at a green light.
“Must’ve broke down… I knew I should’ve taken it.” She uttered with a touch of guilt and whipped the car back around.
She parked behind the truck and hopped on out. Bella went to tease her aunt about the light being green. But when she got to the window, she let out this earth shattering scream. Bella opened the door but was quick to pivot back around. Her aunt had been shot and parts of her skull and brains were splattered up against the windshield and all over the steering wheel. Bella clenched to her gut as she threw up. She screamed out yet again then paced the area. The young woman pulled at her hair, lost on what to do. But the moment she put two and two together… She removed her gun from her hip holster then headed back to the GTO.
“And what are you accusing me of exactly?!” Clay challenged and Tig drew back an uneasy breath.
“Come on, man… Tell them what you ordered me to do.”
Clay chuckled then shook his head in disbelief.
“If you’re talking about the little faggot whose dick you’re on…”
Tig slapped his hand against the table and pointed Clay’s direction.
“Don’t call him that!”
Clay reared back and raised his brows.
“What I do with my sex life… isn’t any of your goddamn business! If I want a fucking orgy, filled with nothing but men, that’s my prerogative!”
Jax regarded Tig in downright shock. He had NEVER seen this side of him before. This brother was beyond livid and he wasn’t down for anymore of Clay’s shit.
“Not if you wanna be a son, it’s not. I think I speak for EVERYONE, when I say we don’t want any of that nauseating shit around here! And since when do you get hard for little queers posing as men?!”
“That’s right. Let’s make this all about ME and forget the REAL reason we’re here.” Tig snapped in response.
“We’re here because you want our permission to jump on some random cock from time to time. And you want to be considered one of US while doing it, right?!”
Clay tilted his head and smiled rather cruelly.
“You wanna suck MY cock too, Tiggy. Is that what you want?”
Tig let out a miserable laugh.
“That’s all you see me as now, isn’t it?” Tig came to his feet and looked to everyone in the room.
“That’s right! Look at the faggot! That’s all any of you will see me as now.” Tig had the beginnings of tears in his eyes.
He looked to Clay then pointed his direction.
“I’m not a faggot. I love who I love and that’s what this is. I’m not a label, asshole. So don’t you put that shit on me. I like me big ass tits and some tight ass pussy to go with that. But yeah, I enjoy me some hard cock from time to time. And I shouldn’t have to stand here and explain THAT part of my life to ANYONE OF YOU! If I was to go and blow my BOYFRIEND, right in front of you, there isn’t SHIT you can do about it. You wanna blow my goddamn head off over it, fine. DO IT! But don’t you EVER come up and threaten me, by turning me into some goddamn hit man again!” Tig was shaking all over and tears were streaming down his face.
“I love that kid.” Clay curled his lip in disgust and Tig nodded.
“That’s right and no one’s stopping me from seeing him. Not you, or this club. I thought you were my brother. But you never were. A brother accepts you, no matter. I’ve been a part of this MC for years. I’ve had EACH of your backs and this is the thanks I get? To be looked at, like I’m some sort of freak? I’m still ME! This is how I’ve always been. So the joke’s on you, because I’m happy with who I am. I finally found someone that gets me. But my brothers can’t accept that. So it’s become a choice… Derk, an old lady’s life, or the club. And you already know what I’m going to choose… All I was trying to do is get YOU to admit the truth. But you can’t and won’t. So I’ll do it for you…”
The doors to the chapel swung open. Bella stormed into the room and with this crazed look in her eyes.
“YOU KILLED HER!” The young woman roared.
“YOU THOUGHT IT WAS ME! BUT IT WAS HER!”
The Sons were quick to react as Bella went to shoot Clay. Happy, Kozik, Jax, and Chibs were quick to apprehend her. Chibs forced her arm back and pried the gun out of her hold. He tossed it onto the table and Bella grabbed the Scot by the cut. Chibs gritted his teeth as he had to stop her from grabbing his gun. The Scot held her back and cut Jax an apologetic glance, as he had to get a little rough with her. Bella was kicking those legs about and going into literal hysterics.
“What are you ramblin’ on about?!” Clay spat.
“YOU KILLED MY AUNT, YOU GODDAMN SON OF A BIIIIITCH!”
“I’ve been here the whole time…” Clay defended and Bella shook her head as she eyed him down.
“They. Thought. It. Was. Me.” She darkly stated and Clay couldn’t help but to get that touch of a smirk about him.
Everyone jumped as a gun went off. They looked over to see Clay had been shot, in the throat. Piney gave a simple nod and pocketed the gun. He looked to Jax directly after.
“Get that fucking cut on and do what you said you were going to do. CLEAN THIS SHIT UP, SON!”
